FORMATION OF THE LAND MARKET: THE THEORY AND PRACTICE OF ELIMINATING THREATS TO THE PATH OF EUROPEAN TRANSFORMATION

Abstract
In the article the economic principles of formation and peculiarities of functioning of the land market are considered. The economic and social problems of formation of market land relations in Ukraine are analyzed. The emphasis was placed on the development of the shadow land market, which gave rise to new problems and contradictions in the formation of the official land market in Ukraine and led to an increase in threats to economic security. A full-fledged land market can not be formed, and therefore a moratorium on land purchase and sale can not be canceled, until the current account of the current owners of land and the quality of these lands is kept. Communities, as representatives of the local authorities in the village elected by the people, should take an active part in the formation of the land market.
