Abstract
The research aims to deepen understanding of the legal bases of taxation in Ukraine. In the article the proanalìzovo evolution and main stages of historical development taxes and taxation. It is that taxes have gone through long evolution from payments in kind of a bezsistemnim nature to the constant source of State revenue.
