Fragments From the History of the Invention of Ві2Те3 and its First Practical Uses
Journal Title: Фізика і хімія твердого тіла - Year 2018, Vol 19, Issue 4
Abstract
The paper presents an analysis of information on the research and use of materials on the basis of Bi2Те3, as a thermoelectric material. It was established that Bi2Те3, as a thermoelectric material, was first investigated in 1905, and was practically applied in thermoelectric devices in the 1950s. The main tendencies of the current state of thermoelectric material science are determined.

The Influence of Air Exposition of the Zr-Mn-Cr-Ni-Al Alloy on Cycle Life
It was found by scanning electron microscopy method that the ZrMn0.5Ni1.2Cr0.18А0.1 alloy has a dendritic structure, and the shooting of a typical section of the surface of the metalographic sample in characteristic radi...
Thermodynamics of Point Defects and Homogeneity Zinc Telluride
Based on the model crystal defect subsystem zinc telluride crystals which considers possibility of the formation of neutral, singly and doubly ionization cationic and anionic vacancies calculated homogeneity ZnTe, and th...
Deposition and Structure (Ag3AsS3)0.6(As2S3)0.4 Thin Films
Thin (Ag3AsS3)0.6(As2S3)0.4 chalcogenide films were deposited upon a quartz substrate by rapid thermal evaporation. Structural studies of the as-deposited and annealed films were performed using scanning electron and ato...
