FRANCHISING IN UKRAINE: FEATURES AND PROSPECTS OF DEVELOPMENT

Abstract
The article is devoted to the quantitative and qualitative analysis of the economic situation and the main economic trends of the development of domestic franchising. It is revealed that the main barriers to the development of domestic franchise companies are insufficient number of well-known brands and financial constraints due to inaccessibility of lending. The deceleration of franchising takes place also due to the depreciation of the national currency and the imperfection of the legislative framework. It was discovered that investing in the development of franchising in Ukraine by foreign investors may not be sufficient active due to the unfair attitude towards fulfillment of contractual obligations and intellectual property in our country. The areas of activity that are most promising for opening a franchise on the domestic market as of today are investigated, and the prospect of franchising as a possible engine of the Ukrainian economy is proven.
