FRICTION WHEN ENGAGING BALL DETENT TORQUE LIMITERS

Journal Title: Проблеми тертя та зношування - Year 2016, Vol 71, Issue

Abstract

Analytical researches have been performed that studied the friction effect on the torque magnitude that triggers an overload release clutch, which means disconnecting its driving and driven parts. It has been quantitatively analyzed how this working torque depends on design parameters. The obtained results are shown in the form of tables and graphs, which has a significant practical importance for facilitating assembling and dismantling operations.
