GENDER FEATURES OF MANIFESTATIONS OF PERSON PERFECTIONISM

Abstract
The article considers and analyzes the main theoretical approaches to the problem of gender-specific manifestations of person perfectionism. According to recent studies, perfectionism is associated with many personal characteristics and different features. The problem of perfectionism is relevant and timely for the modern psychological knowledge. In psychology, studies in this field are becoming more and more increasing, but they are still not sufficient. InUkraine, the problem of perfectionism being studied only recently and mostly it focuses on just a theoretical analysis of foreign research, whereas in foreign science examinations of perfectionism are well represented. According to recent studies, perfectionism is associated with many personal characteristics and has a variety of features, in particular gender characteristics. The purpose of the article is theoretically justify and describe gender-specific manifestations of perfectionism. The phenomenon of perfectionism is defined as an integrative characteristic that manifests itself in the pursuit of excellence, setting high standards fulfillment activities, presenting high demands on themselves and others, is closely related to the various spheres of the individual, determines the conditions of social adaptation and has a gender characteristics in real life. In general it can be concluded that not only the traditional study of global perfectionism, but studies of its specific forms is extremely relevant and promising task of modern psychology, dictated by practical needs.
