Journal Title: Journal of the Human and Social Science Researches - Year 2017, Vol 6, Issue 1
Abstract
This study discusses the main features of the use of the Quranic words in a historical context. It examines the sources related to this subject in two categories, classical and contemporary, and puts its emphasis to point out the original ones. It gives a particular attention on the methodology and how the study of the Quranic words has a close relation with wujūh and nadhāir. This study offers a corpus of principles related to the use of the Quranic words. These principles are gathered from various accounts by using the methodologies of contextual analysis and statistics. In an effort to make the principles understandable, this study draws on examples from the Quran. To verify the authenticity of these principles, this study also pays close attention to the Quranic verses and their contexts.
