GOLD’S INVESTMENT ATTRACTIVENESS AS A SEGMENT OF FINANCIAL MARKET CONSIDERING INVESTMENT TIME HORIZON

Abstract
The article analyzes volatility of gold in comparison with other investment objects, reveals their general trends and differences. It is determined that there is a stable relationship between profitability, risk and the term of investment. It is concluded that gold is attractive for investment only for long-term periods or as an instrument for diversifying the investment portfolio.
