Abstract
igh ethical standards constitute the foundation of high-quality scientific research. Scientific research as a public trust must be conducted according to specific codes, rules, governmental laws, and regulations relating to research ethics. The aim of this paper is to highlight the fundamental ethical principles in scientific research, and those common to sport science and medicine.
