Abstract
The article presents the economic and commodity characteristics of varieties and hybrids of cabbage of the whitish caviar. The competitiveness of vegetable products is determined on the basis of the study of its internal and external characteristics. Competitiveness of a particular cabbage depends on the indicators of their economic and commodity characteristics. The main indicator that determines the competitiveness of varieties is the total yield of the variety, since, for the same costs of cultivation, higher yields will be given to products whose harvesting from one hectare of sown area is higher compared to others. The second most significant indicator may be the amount of energy accumulated in the production and the output of the main nutrient component. Investigating and establishing the degree of competitive advantage of one sample of products over another gives the possibility of a technique based on the theory of pattern recognition and is based on ranking of possible values of competitiveness indicators and the calculation of a summary evaluation on the basis of the obtained data. The essence of the theory of pattern recognition is the recognition of a certain indicator (in our case, the competitiveness) and is carried out consistently for each of the signs. For each sign, a standard sample is developed, which is a set of intervals. If you choose a ranging scale to measure the intervals, then the indicator (competitiveness) can be described as a set of values of these ranks. Intervals are defined as follows: a constant interval of decrease in the indicator is given; the best interval is assigned the highest score of the corresponding rank; Each subsequent interval lower than the first one is assigned a corresponding value in points. The constant interval of decrease in the indicator is set at the level of 20 %.
