Graph Theory. 1. Fragmentation of Structural Graphs
Journal Title: Leonardo Electronic Journal of Practices and Technologies - Year 2002, Vol 1, Issue 1
Abstract
The investigation of structural graphs has many fields of applications in engineering, especially in applied sciences like as applied chemistry and physics, computer sciences and automation, electronics and telecommunication. The main subject of the paper is to express fragmentation criteria in graph using a new method of investigation: terminal paths. Using terminal paths are defined most of the fragmentation criteria that are in use in molecular topology, but the fields of applications are more generally than that, as I mentioned before. Graphical examples of fragmentation are given for every fragmentation criteria. Note that all fragmentation is made with a computer program that implements a routine for every criterion.[1] A web routine for tracing all terminal paths in graph can be found at the address: http://vl.academicdirect.ro/molecular_topology/tpaths/. Effect of Some Process Variables on Nickel Electroplating of Low Carbon Steel
This research work investigated the effect of current density, bath concentration, bath solution volume and electroplating time on nickel electroplating of low carbon steel. Varying voltage between 0.3 and 0.8 V, bath co...
Development of charge calculation program for target steel in induction furnace
This paper presents the development of charge calculation program for target steel in induction furnace. The simulation modelling function developed is based on mass balance analysis of the furnace production. The proc...
Palm Kernel Shells as a Dust Control Palliative on an Unpaved Road
An assessment of the effectiveness of the use palm kernel shells as a dust control palliative on an unpaved road has been carried out. The palm kernel shells were able to reduce the quantity of dust generated from the ro...
Corrosion and Stress Corrosion Behaviors of Low and Medium Carbon Steels in Agro-Fluid Media
Investigations were carried out to study critically the corrosion behaviour and Stress Corrosion Cracking (SCC) of low and medium carbon steels in cassava and cocoa extracts by weight loss measurement and constant extens...
Determination of Contact Angle from Contact Area of Liquid Droplet Spreading on Solid Substrate
Both complete and incomplete wetting were considered for the spreading of liquid drops on solid substrate. The liquid droplets were silicone oil, glycerine and hexadecane and the solid substrates are glass, polystyrene a...
