Greenhouse evaluation of growth and fruit quality against chemical fertilizers on Strawberry cv ‘Camarosa’
Journal Title: International Journal of Farming and Allied Sciences - Year 2013, Vol 2, Issue 2
Abstract
In this paper different types such as 1) control condition (0 ppm) 2) NPK15 (1500 ppm) 3) NPK15 (3000 ppm) , 4) NPK20 (1500 ppm), 5) NPK20 3000 ppm was conducted to evaluate effects of chemical fertilizers on growth and fruit quality of strawberry cv „Camarosa‟ and replicated thrice in randomized block design. The means was compared by using Duncan‟s multiple range test. According to the result, the effects of chemical fertilizers on Grown and fruit quality of Strawberry cv. „Camarosa‟ were significant. It is shown that yield per shrub, yield per m2 and fruit number per shrub, fruit diameter, TSS and Vitamin C were significant, whereas chemical fertilizer types had non significant effect on other traits.
