Hatîb Bağdâdî İle İbnü’s-Salâh Şehrezûrî'nin Hadîs Ve Sünnet Anlayışlarının Karşılaştırılması A Comparison Of Comprehension Between Khatib Baghdadi And Ibn Sa-lah

Abstract
This article studies the notions of hadîth and sunnah specific to the works of different periods titled al-Faqîh ve al-Mutafaqqih written by Khatib Bagh-dâdî and Ulûm al-Hadîth written by Ibn Salâh. It discusses then, the important issues mentioned in the works by comparison. These issues consist of the definition of sunnah, ghayr matluw (non-revealed) sunnah, the mutawâtir and âhâd sunnah, the abrogation of sunnah and so on. It aims to identify the different opinions about these issues by examining these important issues from the first degree sources and does not to prejudice the concepts and terms which the scholars have generally accepted. Therefore, since the target is not to prejudice the concepts and terms that are accep-ted by the scholars, these two hadith scholars who lived in different periods, deter-mined some sunnah and hadith related concepts in different ways. As the result, it is realized taht these two scholars made different definitions and interpretations about some hadith concepts such as mutwater, musned, and mursal.
