Abstract
Abstract: This paper gives an account of 577 herbaceous species belonging to 321 genera and 77 families of Muzaffarnagar district (U.P.). Out of 577 herbaceous species reported, Dicots are represented by 427 and Monocots by 150. Asteraceae, Papilionaceae and Poaceae were found to be the most dominant families.
