The role of magnetic component of a strong light field in electrostrictive effect
Electrostriction forces during laser ablation have been studied both theoretically and experimentally. The components of electroctrostriction force for inhomogeneous electromagnetic field near a substrate were proposed t...
Formation of nanostructured state in LaBGeO5 monolithic glass using pulsed magnetic fields
Using the methods of transmission electron microscopy, X-ray structure analysis and thermal differential analysis, it has been discovered that the pulsed magnetic field (PMF) intensifies homogeneous crystallization in La...
Micro- and nanostructuring of metal surfaces with polarized femtosecond laser pulses
Under irradiation of the surface of metals with femtosecond laser pulses, periodic surface micro- and nanostructures have been obtained. The dependence of orientation inherent to formed structures on direction of the ele...
Some technology aspects for quantum enestor through AIIIBV multicomponent nanoepitaxy
For the first time, it has been considered some quantum enestor technology aspects concerning the integration approach for Si-CMOS and site-controlled InGaN/GaN quantum dots, which provides the possibility to realize sin...
Electronic structure and optical properties of HgSe
We have performed the density functional theory calculations of mercury selenide compound using the plane-wave pseudo-potential (PWPP) method within the generalized gradient approximation to investigate the electronic st...
