Historical Memory of the Great Patriotic War as a Factor of Students Patriotic Education

Abstract
In article the categorical analysis of the concept "historical memory" is carried out and value of historical memory for patriotic education of younger generation is proved. The victory in the Great Patriotic War has the huge potential for patriotism formation. In this regard among students of North-Caucasus Federal University the action of "None of Us Will Be Able to Forget War" has been carried out. During the action students have collected memories of relatives of war of 1941-1945, and also letters from the front, photos of military years, newspaper cuttings the distant 1940s, medals and decorations, the death notifications. In article the content analysis of student's essays is given and the spiritual and patriotic potential of texts of oral history is realized.
