Abstract

The article analyzes the situation of development of geography of tourism in Slovakia and at the end it defines four new tasks for geographers. Trends of geography of tourism are aimed on complex cross-disciplinary researches. As the auxiliary sciences in theoretic – methodological level there are philosophy of tourism, history of tourism, anthropology of tourism, sociology of tourism, psychology of tourism, pedagogy of tourism, theology of tourism and semiotics of tourism
