HOMELESSNESS AND CRIME: CAUSES AND MEASURES OF NEUTRALIZATION

Abstract
The article deals with the notion of homelessness in Ukrainian society, as well as its connections with delinquency. Reasons causing such way of living are also studied. it’s justified, that homelessness can bring about committing crime or the situation, when vagrant can become a witness of a crime. Reasons of homelessness as of objective as well as subjective character are considered in the work. The analysis of the reasons and consequences of homelessness reveals, that homelessness as social phenomenon indissoluble connected with economical, social, political and other factors. Homeless people are parts of society and everything happens inside of it reflect in the reasons why a person appears on the street. The work also includes psychological component of the reason of the phenomenon.
