Human Resources Management and Internal Corporate Social Responsibility
Journal Title: International Journal of Contemporary Management - Year 2010, Vol 9, Issue 2
Abstract
Corporate Social Responsibility cannot be implemented without employees’ participation and their involvement. Taking that into consideration, there is a need to integrate the Human Resources Management systems with the Corporate Social Responsibility procedures. Such an integration should be conducted on every level of management, starting with a strategy, personnel strategy (policy), organisational culture, HRM procedures, organisational tools to be adopted, ending with working conditions. The article deals with the problems connected with preparing such a unified system and identifies some threats that may distort the sense of it. This is another attempt to find solutions not to use CSR idea as a tool of PR policy.
