Humor w dziejach chrześcijaństwa jako element wychowania społecznego

Abstract
The article analyzes the relation between a sense of humor and Christianity. It chronologically passthrough epochs and writings: the Bible, the Fathers of the Church, the Middle Ages, modern times and present day. The article shows on specific examples of texts and people (most often saints), that the sense of humor was at all epochs part of Christian spirituality and culture shaped by it. It also presents currents int theology (f.e. Jansenism), which as-pire to minimize humor and joy in the life of a Christian.
