Abstract
The aim of this study was to con fi rm that swim ming tec hni que and hydrodyna mic pa ra me ters of a swim mer are re le vant for suc cessful swim ming. To tal of 63 boys, at the age of 10-12, par ti ci pa ted in this re se arch. The re we re 15 cri te rion morp ho logy and speci fi c mo to ric skills va ri a bles as well as one pre dic ti ve va ri a ble de ri ved from FI NA po ints. We ha ve con clu ded that hydrodyna mic and swim ming tec hni que sig ni fi cantly con tri bu tes for suc cessful swim ming. The se facts sho uld use tra i ners as gu i dan ce for wor ko ut plan.
