Hypoplastic and Accessory Radial Arteries: A Case Report

Abstract
ABSTRACT Arterial variations in the upper extremity occur in a high prevalence. The radial artery is a terminal branch of the brachial artery in the cubital fossa. This artery is used in some treatment interventions and it’s variation is important for clinicians. Here, we report a cadaver with a rare pattern of two radial arteries. In this cadaver, a hypoplastic radial artery in the cubital fossa was seen as a terminal branch of the brachial artery and high origin accessory radial artery in the arm separated from the brachial artery was also found.
