Abstract
Several specific aspects of the use of linguistic, scientific and educational heritage of prominent cultural, religious and scientific leader, slavist scientist, historian, educator Ivan Ogienko(1882-1972) in the study process of the courses «Modern Ukrainian with practical work» and «Methods of studying Ukrainian in the elementary school» with students-future teachers of mountain secondary school of I-II grade.
