Identification of nonlinear scatterers by a chaoticsignal
Journal Title: Вісник НТУУ КПІ. Серія Радіотехніка, Радіоапаратобудування - Year 2011, Vol 0, Issue 46
Abstract
It is shown in the paper that the nonlinear scatterers t.e. simply re-emit the signal withadditional non-linear products in the spectrum, but also generates a so-called chaoticoscillations. Thanks to it a method of recognition the chaotic condition degree ofcharacteristic oscillations of the emitted nonlinear scatterers with the identificationparameter - the coefficient of variability, is proposed. The possibility of identification ofnonlinear scatterers on certain classes, which correspond to specific ranges of values ofidentification parameters of the first and second order, is grounded. The use of a model basedon Volterra series, which allows to take into account secondary telltale internal effects innonlinear structures in a nonlinear radar and to avoid the complexity of the classification ofnonlinear scatterers in the appropriate classes by the method of least squares is proposed.
