Identity as a category of analysis separatism: the Ukrainian context

Abstract
This analysis includes features of Eastern Ukraine separatism in the context of conflict hypertrophied by the regional identity of Donbass, formed on the basis of ethnical variety, nation wide phenomenon, non-consolidated nation-state identity. The design process is not completed because of the state’s weakness, political elite fragmentation, discontinuity, dichotomy value sand symbolic systems. Therefore, the conflict between them hassled to separatist sentiments of one part of the population that actively supported the aggression of Russian Federation and the apathy of another
