IGG4-RELATED DISEASES – A NEW CLASSIFICATION UNIT IN RHEUMATOLOGY

Abstract
This article presents the recent published data about the new classification unit in rheumatology – IgG4-related disease. It is demonstrated a pathogenic role IgG4, tumor necrosis factor ligand BAFF and APRIL, T and B lymphocytes and various cytokines in the development of this disease. It is briefly described the clinical manifestations, diagnosis and treatment approaches in patients with IgG4-related disease.
