IMPROVEMENT OF RELIABILITY OF CHROMATOGRAPHY IDENTIFICATION OF ORGANIC POLLUTANTS OF ENVIRONMENTS

Abstract
Purpose. The authors consider cause-and-effect relations between the amount of anthropogenic emissions of organ- ic substances (anthropogenic changes in the environment), the population of individual regions of the planet and their mutual influence. Therefore, the identification of trace contaminants of anthropogenic pollutants in natural environ- ments is the main objective of environmental monitoring, the improvement of which is necessary to reduce the level of environmental hazards, as well as to assess the degree of environmental risk of each pollutant separately and in general. Methodology. The authors apply the sorption-structural correlation based on the dependencies between chromatograph- ic retention and the physicochemical (structural) characteristics of complex mixtures of substances. Results. Numerical values of the correlation of chromatographic retention with the molecular characteristics of the analytes for the correct choice of the chromatographic system, reliable determination of the components of complex mixtures in their identifica- tion have been obtained. Originality. The equations of linear regression for a priori description of chromatographic properties, having a general character, identical descriptors and high reliability have been derived. Practical value. The obtained results allow to use the linear regression equations for environmental-analytical control of pollutants in the system of environmental monitoring in the absence of standards.
