IMPROVEMENT OF TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER IN HIGHER EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENTS

Abstract
Questions of organizing scientific and research activities in higher educational establishments have been considered. Attention has been focused on the necessity of increasing the initiative of universities as the main participants in the innovative process. The essence of the current approach to technology transfer in higher educational establishments of Ukraine has been disclosed and its development has been proposed based on the principles of marketing, that is presented in a scheme. Main groups of problems which restrain the development of technology transfer and commercialization of universities' intellectual property have been determined. Raising the technology transfer effectiveness has been proved to require the use of the logic of commercialization of higher educational establishments research findings with a view to anticipating the real economy sector's demand for innovations based on using modern marketing tools.
