Improving the Efficiency of Treatment of Children with Cystic Fibrosis by Including Pulmozyme to Standard Therapy
Journal Title: Здоров`я дитини - Year 2015, Vol 2, Issue 62
Abstract
The efficiency of treatment of 12 children with cystic fibrosis using Pulmozyme on a background of standard therapy during a year has been analyzed. In comparison with the treatment of 20 patients with cystic fibrosis, who received standard therapy, there was found a reduction in the incidence of exacerbations of cystic fibrosis, acute respiratory infections, improvement of respiratory function and cardiovascular system work, which positively affected the school performance. This allows you to recommend continued use of Pulmozyme for the treatment of children with cystic fibrosis, for at least one year.
