Improving the reliability of protection of household electric networks by using complex criteria of actuation protective devices

Abstract

The necessity and possibility of increasing the reliability of protection of household electrical networks due to the transition to comprehensive criteria of tripping formed from a combination of several parameters of the protected circuit are shown. Improving reliability is ensured both by expanding the list of emergency in the power grid, on which protection reacts, and by increasing the uptime of the protection system as a result of redundancy mode failures. New technical solutions permitting to form in a sliding mode monitoring various types of complex criteria for triggering of certain types of protection, using the same, simple in computing and widely used in circuit breakers trip units integration algorithms of square of discrete current values are considered.
