Abstract
The author evokes the human and scientific dimension of the personality of Professor Razvan Theodorescu, the Vice-President of the Romanian Academy. His remarkable research results and the outstanding achievements brought his fame and recognition both nationally and internationally. His scientific work contributes to a better understanding of the Byzantine Christian spirituality and its influence on the Romanian Mediaeval art and civilization.
