Abstract
Figură interesantă în peisajul literar francez contemporan, Véronique Olmi, cunoscută îndeosebi prin prisma scenariilor ei de film, precum şi ca autoare de nuvele (calitate în care, în 2011, a obţinut Premiul Alain Fournier), se afirmă în forţă, în 2017, ca romancieră. Bakhita, romanul publicat de editura Albin Michel, suscită rapid interesul marelui public, dar şi al specialiştilor, prezenţa acestuia pe lista de romane selectate pentru atribuirea Premiului Goncourt nefiind deloc întâmplătoare.
