INCREASE OF TRIBOTECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF AIRPLANES TITANIC DETAILS

Abstract

The results of tests on wear resistance and fretting resistance of titanic alloys with different variants of the coatings applied in aircraft construction are presented. The molybdenum coating in the electrospark way allows to raise wear resistance of titanic alloys. Thus there is a change of the mechanism of wear process with adhesive on oxidizing. The molybdenum coating on the developed technology does not lead to structural changes in a substrate material. Passage of the diffusion processes and phase changes during friction is established. On the basis of the researches results of structure, phase composition, mechanical and tribotechnical properties of titanic alloy ВТ6 with electrospark molybdenum coating the opportunity of use of such coating for friction units from titanic alloys is shown.
