INCREASING EFFICIENCY OF RISK MANAGEMENT OF BANK’S LIQUIDITY IN THE CONDITIONS OF FINANCIAL INSTABILITY

Abstract
Purpose. The aim of the article is research of problem of liquidity of banks of Ukraine and work of suggestions in relation to the improvement of liquidity management in the conditions of the crisis and post-crisis state of economy. Methodology of research. Methodological basis of research is a dialectical method of scientific cognition, the scientific and special methods of research were here used, namely abstractly logical, deductive and system analyses at research of problems of liquidity of banks in Ukraine, estimation of the modern state of their liquidity; ground of ways of improvement of liquidity management in the conditions of the crisis and post-crisis state economies. Findings. A literary review and analysis of the modern going are conducted near determination of concept "liquidity of bank". Current status of liquidity of the banking system of Ukraine is analyzed, the problem aspects of providing of liquidity of banks are investigational and the instruments of management the risk of liquidity are generalized. It is educed that the indexes of liquidity of the banking system of Ukraine during the investigated period answer a normative value. It is set that the values of indexes of liquidity in the period of crisis not too differed from indexes in the period of more stable economy, that it is related to refunding of commercial banks by the National bank of Ukraine. Directions of perfection of liquidity management of bank institutions are offered. Originality. It is set that banks have problems with providing of the proper level of their liquidity. Directions of perfection of liquidity management of bank institutions are offered. Practical value. Receipt research results that are shown in conclusions and suggestions assist the decision of problem of providing of the proper level of liquidity of the banking system of Ukraine.
