INCREASING OPERATIONAL CAPABILITIES OF NATO IN THE FACE OF MODERN CHALLENGES AND THREATS

Abstract

Th is paper explores the issue of improving NATO’s operational capabilities. Th e initial sections overview changes that have already been introduced and are expected in the international security environment in the forthcoming years. Th is perspective is subsequently adopted to identify the present developments in the strategic concepts of NATO with the view to formulation of appropriate operational capabilities of the North Atlantic Treaty.<br/><br/>
