INFLUENCE OF COEFFICIENT OF EXPANSION THE GRAINS OF RUBBLE BY A SOLUTION ON CEMENT CONCRETE FLEXURAL STRENGTH
Journal Title: Збірник наукових праць Українського державного університету залізничного транспорту - Year 2017, Vol 169, Issue 3
Abstract
It is shown that one of the important factors affecting on the flexural strength of cement concrete is a packing density, or the ratio between the large and small filler. The article shows that different aggregates has its own optimum relationship between large and small aggregates in which the packing density is maximum. This relationship can be expressed as expansion coefficient of grains rubble by mortar. It determines the value of this coefficient for specific performers. It is shown that the density of the concrete, the concrete compressive strength and flexural strength of concrete reaches a maximum at the optimum expansion coefficient of grains rubble by mortar.
