Influence of number of radial slits of ferromagnetic screen on linear induction-dynamic transducer attributes

Abstract

Proposed the concept of a linear induction-dynamic transducer (LIDT) in which ferromagnetic screen (FS) is provided with radial slits. It was found that an increase in the number of radial slits decreases the induced currents in the FS and increases electrodynamic force acting on the armature LIDT. FS is optimal with four radial slits. LIDT efficiency increases with the FS by 45 % compared to the efficiency of the FS inverter and massive. As a result of experimental studies found the presence of four radial cuts in PV increases the speed of the armature 47 %.
