INNOVATION AND INVESTMENT ACTIVITIES OF ENTERPRISES OF UKRAINE AND ZHYTOMYR REGION

Abstract
The article analyzes the definitions of the concepts «innovation» and «investment» and justifies the need to consider them as one whole. A comparative assessment of the current state of innovative activity of enterprises in Ukraine in general and the Zhytomyr region has been carried out. Sources of investment support for enterprises that carry out innovative activities have been analyzed. The article draws attention to the causes that hindered the introduction of innovations. The ways of increasing the innovation and investment activity of Ukrainian enterprises are suggested.
