Abstract

One of the main sources of error in continuous monitoring and quality management of mineral raw materials of nuclear physical methods is the instability of distance (air gap) between the source, the radiation detector and the surface-controlled rock mass. The results of studies of the effect of measurement geometry on the intensity of the integral flux of scattered gamma radiation and the mathematical model of the process.
