INTELIGENCIAS MÚLTIPLES APLICADAS EN LAS CARRERAS DE PEDAGOGÍA DE LAS CIENCIAS EXPERIMENTALES: INFORMÁTICA Y MATEMÁTICA DE LA FACULTAD DE FILOSOFÍA, LETRAS Y CIENCIAS DE LA EDUCACIÓN

Abstract

This study presents a research about the intellectual development achieved by the students, who study the first and second semester, in the careers of Pedagogy of the Experimental Sciences: Computer Science and Mathematics of the Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Sciences of Education of the University Central of Ecuador. In this study we investigated and analyzed the different intelligences learned in the different stages of the educational process. The research was based on the Gardner intelligences model. The same that included 75 observations, applied during the semester of March to August of 2017. The variables are the following multiple intelligences: Linguistics, Cenesthetic Physics, Interpersonal, Intrapersonal, Naturalist, Spatial, Mathematical and Musical Logic. The study involved 164 students; 82 that represent each university career a survey was applied, the information was processed with the Statistical Package for the Social Science. The results are: 7.3% linguistic, 3.7% Cenesthetic Physics, 12.2% Musical, 20.7% intrapersonal in Computer Science: 14.6% Mathematical Logic, 14.6% Interpersonal and 19.5% Naturalist for Mathematics; considering the alternative of greater value. It is concluded that students of Computer Science, achieved a greater development in the field of multiple intelligences, in relation to students studying in Mathematics.
