Interactive software package Isohypse for three-dimensional geological and geophysical models, and its practical use
Journal Title: Геофизический журнал - Year 2016, Vol 38, Issue 1
Abstract
The principles and stages of operation in interactive mode have been stated for Isohypse soft¬ware complex intended for creating in computer memory a three-dimensional description of geophysical objects represented with isolines and faults. Its main advantage is the ability to pro¬cess both monochrome (black and white) and colored (original maps) images of objects in a rec¬tangular or geographic coordinate system. The complex provides various ways to determine the parameter Z (x, у) in the grid node depending on its location on the image. The input lines are performed by use of Bezier curves, which allows simulating more accurately the surface of geo¬physical objects. For the first time the concept of isolines of the specific type has been intro¬duced. The complex allows from already created digital definitions to cut and save the data in any rectangular region, to obtain information along the selected lines for further use in con¬structing two-dimensional sections.

Secular variation of geomagnetic field in Antarctica
The changes of the geomagnetic field secular variations at the Antarctic magnetic observato¬ries for 1956—2010 years were investigated. The comparison between the secular variations at the Antarctica continent and at nor...
Petromagnetism and palaeomagnetism of Quaternary loess-soil sediments of Vyazivok section (Dnieper Lowland)
The results of petromagnetic and palaeomagnetic research of Vyazivok loess-paleosoil sequence (Dnieper Lowland) are presented. Variations of natural remanent magnetization and magnetic susceptibility are not correlated w...
Conditions of ferruginous-cherty formations origin (Middle-Dnieper mega-block)
The basic idea of existing hypotheses of ferruginous-cherty formations origin is an opinion that the form of iron presence depends on conditions at the depth of sediments accumulation. It has been shown in this paper wit...
Implication of satellite images in studying potential hydrocarbon resources in the licence Blocks 9 and 11, the exclusive economic zones of Egypt and Cyprus
A frequency-resonance technology was used for processing and decoding the satellite images of the licence Blocks 9 and 11 in the Eastern Mediterranean. The anomalies of “oil and gas” type were revealed in the study area....
Dependence of magnitude evaluation of chemical exposure characteristics at industrial careers within the boundaries of the Ukrainian Shield
Within the boundaries of the Ukrainian Shield; the main sources of induced seismicity are numerous blasting operations at open and underground minerals mining enterprises. Seismic stations of the Main Center for Special...
