Interconnection of metacognitive activity with styles of self-regulation of students

Abstract
In this article, we have analyzed the interrelation between metacognitive activity indicators and indicators of self-regulation of students. According to the results of the research, self-regulation styles of students create direct and inverse relations with the indicators of metacognitive activity. We found out that self-regulation has the strongest connection with such indicator of metacognitive activity as self-assessment of study. Besides, the research showed that some indicators of metacognitive activity create non-linear relation (direct for high levels and inverse for low levels) with self-regulation styles.
