INTERCULTURAL ACTIONS TOWARDS VOCATIONAL GUIDANCE FOR UNIVERSITY EDUCATION ENTRY OF THE TECHNICAL SCHOOLS PEMON INDIGENOUS STUDENTS

Abstract
In the educational context, it is necessary to prepare students so that they can face the world they have to live, and to know what are the abilities, limitations and professional interests they have. To obtain this knowledge and be able to be selective in choosing a profession, they require the specialized personnel advice. These considerations affect young people in indigenous communities whose realities are particular and many are unaware of the possibilities of study, Higher Education offers and even their own skills. Making their knowledge the need to study and professionalize according to their skills and cultural reality is of the utmost importance because they are often relegating. The present research focuses on proposing intercultural strategies aimed at teachers for the promotion of vocational guidance in the sixth year of general secondary education students of the institutions “Escuela Técnica Agropecuaria Kumarakapay” and the “Escuela Técnica Agropecuaria Kavanayén” of the Gran Sabana municipality, Bolívar state.
