International conference in functional analysis dedicated to the 125th anniversary of Stefan Banach
Journal Title: Математичні Студії - Year 2017, Vol 48, Issue 2
Abstract
On March 30, 2017, the international mathematical community celebrated the 125th birthday of Stefan Banach, the famous Lviv mathematician, one of the founders of functional analysis. Dedicated to this anniversary, the International Conference in Functional Analysis was held in Lviv on September 18–23, 2017. The conference was organized by Ivan Franko National University of Lviv in cooperation with Institute of Mathematics NAS of Ukraine (Kyiv), Lviv Polytechnic National University and Pidstryhach Institute for Applied Problems of Mechanics and Mathematics (Lviv).

Weak solutions to the complex Monge-Ampere equation on open subsets of Cn
In the paper, we prove the existence of weak solutions to the complex Monge-Ampere equation in the class D(Ω) on an open subset Ω of Cn.
Fast growing meromorphic solutions of the systems of linear differential equations
Systems of linear differential equations that allow for dimension decrease are considered. Growth estimates for meromorphic vector-solutions are obtained. An essentially new feature is that there are no additional constr...
Wiman’s type inequality for multiple power series in an unbounded cylinder domain
In this paper we prove some analogues of Wiman’s inequality for analytic f(z) and random analytic functions f(z,t) on T=Dl×Cp−l, l∈N, 1≤l≤p, I={1,…,l}, J={l+1,…,p} of the form f(z)=∑+∞∥n∥=0anzn, f(z,t)=∑+∞∥n∥=0anZn(t)zn...
Hahn’s pairs and zero inverse problem
We prove that for a function α0:[0,1]→R there exists a separately continuous function f:[0,1]2→R such that E0(fx)=α0(x) on [0,1] if and only if α0 is the nonnegative lower semicontinuous function, where fx(y)=f(x,y) for...
The Cauchy problem with impulse action and degeneration for parabolic equations
We study the Cauchy problem for the second-order linear parabolic equations with impulse conditions in the time variable and power singularity in the coefficients of any order with respect to the time and space variables...
