INVESTIGATION OF THE PHYSICOCHEMICAL CHARACTERISTICS AND COMPOSITION OF ERYX BOAS SNAKE AUTOLYSATE

Abstract
The general data on the chemical composition and properties of snake organs, along with the history of their use in medical practice, are presented. Drugs derived from snakes continue to serve as a valuable source of new medicinal compounds. Biochemical, molecular biological, and pharmacological studies have been conducted, including protein and nucleic acid electrophoresis, chromatography, and immunological methods. The study concludes that it is expedient to modify existing methodologies, optimize sample preparation conditions, or develop alternative methods to ensure the authenticity of snake hydrolysates used in medicines.
