Irritable Bowel Syndrome: Role of Intestinal Microbiota Disorders and Ways of Their Correction

Abstract

The article presents the correlation between intestinal microbiota disorders and irritable bowel syndrome. The mechanisms of pathogenic role of bowel dysbiosis in the development of irritable bowel syndrome were shown. There were analyzed the results of investigations concerning the evaluation of probiotics efficiency in patients with irritable bowel syndrome. The approaches to correction of these disorders were determined.
