Isolation of Pseudomonas fluorescens from rhizospheric soil of faba bean and assessment of their Phosphate solubility: in vitro study, Ethiopia
Journal Title: Scholars Academic Journal of Biosciences - Year 2013, Vol 1, Issue 7
Abstract
Soil fertility improvement is an important area which needs attention since most of the hazardous inputs added into the agricultural system are in the form of chemicals. Since crop production and soil normal flora are affected by input of chemical fertilizer. Biofertilizer microorganisms make the nutrients available to plants. The present study was concerning to isolate of some Pseudomonas fluorescens species that possess a promising properties which make it a better bio-fertilizer bacteria. Twelve Pseudomonas fluorescens species was isolated from rhizospheric soil of faba bean and tested for phosphate solubilization. As result, all tested isolates Pseudomonas fluorescens species have a potential of phosphate solubilization on Pikovskaya media by formed a clear halo zone. So it could be summarized that all Pseudomonas fluorescens isolate species can be used as bio-fertilizers for soil fertiliy improvement, as a result increase crop growth and yield. Molecular Revealing of Human Papilloma Viruses (HPV) in Abnormally Pap Smears by RFLP-PCR
The study was aimed to characterize genotypes of Human Papilloma Virus in abnormally Pap test. Out of 15 specimens processed, 02 came positive for oncogenic HPV. Both the positive cases were HPV type-16 which is one of t...
Identification of Non-albicans Candida Yeasts Associated with Vulvovaginal Candidiasis in Tanzania Using a Combination of Multiplex PCR and DNA Sequence Divergence of the 26S LSU rDNA
Vulvovaginal candidiasis (VVC) is caused by various species of the yeast genus Candida which may require different drugs for therapy. The objective of this study was to rapidly identify non-albicans Candida species among...
Analysis by HPLC of organic extracts of Tapinanthus bangwensis used for the conservation of stocks of Zea mays (Linné) and Vigna unguilculata L. Walf against two principal devastating insects (Sitophilus zeamais and Callosobruchus maculatus)
The objective is to find the alternate ones with insecticides of synthesis, the extracts of plants are used more and more by the peasants to protect stocks from harvest against the devastating insects. Thus, a chemical a...
Is Bone Grafting necessary following open reduction and internal fixation of supracondylar/intercondylar femur fracture with locking compression plate?
The common problems seen in distal femoral fractures are communition, articular surface involvement, fractures in multiple planes and bone loss in compound fractures. They present a challenge to the surgeon to achieve st...
