Abstract
The article analyzes the experience of foreign EU member states, examines the impact of European integration on the development of the tourist market, presents mechanisms for improving the efficiency of tourism tourism in depressed regions on the example of the Baltic states, Poland. On the basis of the systematic approach, using the methods of comparison, historical, statistical and analytical analysis, a model and priority directions of tourism development aimed at creating and consolidating a positive image of Ukraine are presented.
