JUSTIFICATION OF THE RATIONAL DIRECTION OF MINING DEVELOPMENT BASED ON THE ACCOUNT OF FRACTURING INTENSITY TENSORS

Abstract

Purpose. To determine the direction of mining operations development for extraction of the decorative stone based on the accounting of the tensors of fracturing intensity. Methodology. For modeling the spatial distribution of the fracturing intensity the tensors of the fracturing intensity of the second rank have been used expressed by the square symmetric non-degenerate matrix. Results. The approaches estimation to the ways of evaluation the spatial orientation of fractures and planning the directions of mining operations has been done. The methodology of research and the basic parameters for the mathematical model of the fracturing deposit have been justified. The model of the fracturing deposits of decorative stones has been developed. This model is based on the using of tensors of the fracturing intensity of the second rank. The expediency of expression the tensors of the fracturing intensity in the selected coordinate system by the square symmetric non-degenerate matrix has been justified. The methodology of determining the direction of development mining operations based on comparison of fracturing tensors for different values of the angles formed with the abscissa of principal axes of the tensor of the fracturing intensity has been justified. A procedure for determining the optimal size of the natural separateness of decorative stones has been described. Originality. The methodology of determining the direction of development mining operations based on comparison of fracturing tensors for different values of the angles formed with the abscissa of principal axes of the tensor of the fracturing intensity was justified for the first time. Practical value. Research results are allowed to justify the choice of the direction of development mining operations and optimal sizes of the natural separateness of decorative stones.
