KEY APPROACHES TO DEFINING EDUCATION’S CONTENT IN THE XXI CENTURY IN THE CONTEXT OF WORKFORCE’S TRAINING

Abstract

The basic approaches to the determination of what is now called “the skills and abilities of the XXI century” that have to be inherent in the immediate future employees are analysed. Major groups of these skills and components are analysed as well. A possible impact of future technological development trends on the role and place of education as a factor of economic growth is discussed. The main groups of skills and abilities required for the formation of characteristics of the labour force are described. Necessary skills to provide a rapid adaptability to the conditions of both the present and the immediate future are determined.
